On Monday the 31th of August we started the RF Processing of the cavity of the electron accelerator at 18:00. See also the Blog.

We were very excited to see the development of the RF Processing. A few people were present: Walter Knulst and Martien Vermeulen who have been in charge of constructing the electron accelerator, Juleon Schins who is staff member of the section and involved in the development of the accelerator, Laurens Siebbeles who is the heat of the section and Koos van Kammen who is supervising the RF Processing on behalf of the Radiation Safety Department.

 We have had a very successful evening and have reached already a power level of 2.9 MW input power and 2.5 MeV electron energy.
